Be a part of the Christmas message of hope and love as HOPE AVENUE TWIN CITIES opens a shelter for men without housing on December 1 in North Minneapolis, 1229 Logan Avenue North, alongside the Apostolic Church there. We lay our 16 years of experience at Elim Church before the Lord as we say 'Yes, Lord, we will serve you.’ We offer safety and warmth, nightly sleep and a hot shower, homemade meals, friendship and recovery resources, worship and the love of Christ…

This shelter is a gift to the Lord. We invite you to join us with your financial gift and prayers. This is a Christ centered shelter for which we will not receive any federal or government support. We are trusting the Lord to meet our financial needs through the generosity of His people. We are delighted to say that we have raised $75,000 to date. Thank you, Jesus!

Hope Avenue has 16 years of outreach at Elim Church into the community of those experiencing homelessness. Recently the Lord called Hope Avenue Twin Cities to develop and launch a non-profit organization to provide these outreach services daily to the North and NE Minneapolis communities. We have our EIN from the IRS but await our nonprofit status. Elim will receipt your dollars and give you a tax deductible contribution.

We are thinking of you with love. May the Lord continue to bless your faithful service. And may the Lord bless you as you run the race with Hope Avenue Twin Cities! Together we extend a strong hand of love!

With love from the Hope Avenue Twin Cities board: Candace Gislason, Pastor Becky Hanson, Stephen Murck, Pastor Kim Stephens, and volunteers extraordinaire: Derren Abendroth, Jay Cope, Kale Johnson and Nic Knuth.
